The GSC for advanced robotics is the result of the cooperation between Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa and OTO Melara S.p.A. , a collaboration convention aimed at the research in the field of mobile robotics and innovative materials.
 
COBRA platform is a modified Pioneer P3AT equipped with a Hokuyo laser, a GPS and a camera mounted on a special support. Cobra is used to perform experiments on autonomous navigation in both indoor and outdoor environments.
OTO TRP1-B is a remotely operated,dual use, security support UGV with outstanding mobility, speed, load capacity, ease of remote control effectiveness of the onboard arm. Its modular and flexible architecture can interface sensors and payload of up to over 150 Kg.
